What works, what to weigh

Strengths

4 reasons to book
  • Top-rated rooms and service — Both rooms and service score 9.2 out of 10, with guests repeatedly praising the comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, and helpful staff.
  • Great views from many rooms — City, river, and lake views come up again and again in guest feedback, especially from higher-floor rooms and suites.
  • Extensive on-site facilities — Beyond the rooms, there's a large outdoor pool, a full spa with massage and beauty treatments, a fitness centre, and several restaurants including Nobu.
  • Great location within Crown complex — Right next to the casino, Epicurean, and the new stadium, with plenty of dining and entertainment options within easy reach.

Worth weighing

4 to weigh
  • General rating lags behind room scores — While rooms and service hit 9.2, the general category sits at 7.9, suggesting the overall experience may not fully match the five-star billing.
  • Some check-in and service hiccups — A few guests mention the check-in process could be more efficient and occasional lapses in service clarity.
  • Price point is high — Rooms start at £733 per night, which places this firmly at the luxury end of the market.
  • Car park view from some rooms — One guest noted that some rooms overlook the car park rather than the city, so views are not guaranteed.

“Stayed here for business and it was superb. The room was very comfortable with a lovely big bed and a bathroom that had a great soaking tub. Large windows made the space feel bright and open, and the spa treatment from a Crown Spa therapist was a real highlight. The fitness centre was well equipped too, so I could keep up my routine.”

“For a one-night romantic stay it was brilliant. The staff in the club were amazing, and it's a short walk to Modo Mio restaurant, which we loved. Rooms were exceptionally good with wonderful views.”
